Do you have a little one that loves cars?! Grab a play mat and start working on your child's language! This is an easy way to target prepositions in a fun, engaging way. Examples of phrases to use with your little ones:
- The car is going around the road.
- Let's put the man in the car.
- Put the red car in front of the yellow bus.
- Take the red car off the track.
It is important to talk to your child... A LOT! Talk with your child about what you are doing and provide your child the opportunity to repeat what you are saying. Language is everywhere, even if your little one does not understand what you are saying, he/she needs repetitive exposure.
